What to Expect in Your First Lesson
Feeling nervous before your first surf lesson? That’s completely normal. At OA Surf Club, we’ll guide you through every step of the experience. Your lesson will begin on the beach with a warm-up and an introduction to the basics, including paddling, balance, and how to pop up on the board. Once you feel ready, it’s time to head into the shallows and catch some waves.
Our instructors will be with you throughout the session, offering advice, encouragement, and plenty of support as you ride your first wave. And if you fall off? Don’t worry — wiping out is all part of learning and usually one of the most fun parts too.
